Founded in 1981, Cosmo Films has grown into one of the world’s largest producers of BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) films, and the world’s largest manufacturer of thermal lamination films, catering to diverse industries including packaging, lamination, labelling, and industrial applications.

The company has a strong global presence, with offices in all major cities across India, as well as in the USA, Korea, Europe, and Japan. In 2010, Cosmo Films chose X-Trim, Greycon’s trim optimisation solution, to streamline their slitting planning operations and reduce waste, while increasing ROA. At the time, the decision marked a bold step in leveraging software for production optimisation, a strategy that proved not only forward-thinking but vital to supporting their profitability.

With X-Trim, Cosmo Films was able to:

  2. Minimise the number of jumbo rolls produced to meet customer expectations & improve overall ROA.
