The implementation of Greycon’s X-Trim solution in Cosmo Films has been proven to be one of our best IT solution investments. This automation of the deckle planning process has enabled Cosmo to save not only a substantial amount of time, which was being utilised in manual slitting optimisation and master roll selection, but also reduce the number of blade changes resulting in increased machine throughput. Cosmo has achieved around 1.5 % saving in total waste generation. Further, due to an improved interface with SAP, we have reduced the transactional processing time significantly along with achieving 100% accuracy. X-Trim has become an integral part of our Production process
