Greycon Releases GreyconMill 2026.1: Driving Efficiency, Quality and Operational Excellence

Company News

Greycon is pleased to announce the release of GreyconMill 2026.1, introducing a range of enhancements that improve operational efficiency, strengthen quality management, simplify administration, and enhance day-to-day mill operations.

Available to customers with active maintenance or subscription agreements, the latest release delivers practical improvements across production, inventory management, mobile operations, system administration, and system integration.

Streamlining Production

A key enhancement in GreyconMill 2026.1 is the ability to manage containers directly from the Winder screen. Operators can create, edit, assign, and print container labels without leaving the production interface, while automatic item assignment reduces manual steps and helps minimise operator errors.

Enhanced Quality Management

GreyconMill 2026.1 introduces significant improvements to quality control and defect management, giving manufacturers greater visibility and control throughout the production process.

New Quality Hold Conditions allow organisations to restrict inventory actions until quality inspections have been completed by authorised users.

Enhanced defect management provides improved visibility, traceability, and root-cause analysis through configurable defect reference numbers, item-level defect information, and complete defect history tracking.

Greater Shop Floor Flexibility

New production enhancements help operators work more efficiently, including expanded tare weight automation, improved pattern management, enhanced label printing, and greater flexibility for production workflows.

GreyconMill Mobile also continues to evolve with improved bucket management and backstand handling, allowing operators to manage materials and key production activities directly from the shop floor.

Simplified Administration

Administration is now easier with the introduction of the GreyconMill Connection Administrator, a centralised tool for managing system connections, database updates, and datasets.

Support for Active Directory Group authentication further simplifies user management by allowing permissions to be controlled through existing Windows Active Directory groups, reducing administration while maintaining secure access.

Improved Performance and Integration

The release also includes integration enhancements that improve communication with connected systems, along with performance improvements that deliver faster processing and more accurate scheduling.

Customers upgrading from versions before 2025.1 will also benefit from GreyconMill’s modern 64-bit architecture, providing improved memory management, scalability, and overall system performance.

Looking Ahead

Greycon continues to invest in the future of manufacturing software through the ongoing development of GreyconWeb, a browser-based platform that will unify access to GreyconMill, opt-Studio, and X-Trim.

The company is also expanding its focus on AI-powered capabilities and enhanced cybersecurity to meet evolving customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Available Now

GreyconMill 2026.1 is available now for customers with active maintenance or subscription agreements. Greycon recommends validating the new version in a test environment before deployment, with Technical Support and Professional Services teams available to assist throughout the upgrade process.

With enhancements spanning production, quality management, mobility, administration, and performance, GreyconMill 2026.1 helps manufacturers operate more efficiently, securely, and with greater confidence.
