A Successful Customers Forum & User Group
April 2008
On 2nd and 3rd of April 2008, we invited our customers and implementation partners to London for the 2008 User Group forum.
The event was organised around experience sharing, product news, company evolution and customer testimonials; we considered the event was a great success with excellent and encouraging feedback from all the participants.
The first day of the event took place in London City followed by an evening event, a trip to the London Eye and dinner at the Oxo Tower and the second day was at our offices in London. It was a good opportunity for our customers, partners and employees to learn from each other, with regards to past, present and future projects and tools. We would like to thank the participants for travelling from all around the world to attend the event and for their active contribution to the meetings, through presentations, interactive questions and openness about projects challenges and successes.

The specific presentations from Olli Siikaluoma (VP Customer Service & Business Control at M-Real Office Papers), Nick Titlow (Project Manager at M-Real Office Papers), Curt Olsson (Project Manager at Stora Enso Fors) and Ekasit Kitisakchaikul (Project Manager at Siam Kraft Industry Company) were much appreciated. Thank you also to all the rest of our customers who were not able to attend but still encouraged us through the organisation of the event.

We held an open feedback session and we will follow up directly with our customers for the specific topics submitted.
Here is a summary of what our customers said about the forum, note that day 1 was organised as a collective day and day 2 was organised around three break-out sessions including on-request specific sessions between customers and consultants.
Is there anything that you particularly enjoyed or did not enjoy about day 1?
- It was good to hear people from other companies talk about how they use the system.
- It is good to see Greycon enrolling in more established company structure.
- Would prefer more interactive sessions.
- Some presentations did not address key issues; but the lessons learned described by customers were of most benefit.
Is there anything that you particularly enjoyed or did not enjoy about day 2?
- The opportunity to discuss issues in more detail.
- Freestyle sessions with Consultants were particularly good.
- Ability to make immediate improvements to the solution.
- The new product D-Opt being launched by Greycon is very impressive, may be the dream of each planner!
- I liked the interactive sessions.
It there anything about general organisation of the event which you think can be improved for the future?
- Everything was very well planned.
- Earlier advise about the venue and hotel options.
- Split the customers into groups for presentations to provide more targeted information, offering parallel programmes on both days.
- More coverage of latest or future development.
It was a stimulating event for us and once again thank you to all the participants. We are looking forward to the next forums we aim to organise in North America in about a year and another one in about two years in Europe.
