Greycon is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Collins as Vice President Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), responsible for sales & marketing, software development, customer projects, and continuing support for the GreyconMill product line.
GreyconMill is a new-technology, scalable MES software solution for manufacturing customers in flat sheet and rolled product industries such as Pulp & Paper, Metals, Plastics and Film, Textiles, Nonwovens and Converting. By combining the GreyconMill MES solution with the company’s industry leading planning software (D-Opt / S-Plan) and optimization software (X-Trim), Greycon now offers customers an alternative solution, which is contemporary, affordable and highly effective.
Mark is the ideal candidate to drive this evolving business for Greycon. He is an industry veteran with over 30 years experience in the mills sector, including 20 years in the Pulp & Paper industry, and 10 years in Textiles and Metals. He has served as a Business Development Executive with OSIsoft and Apriso, as Vice President of Sales & Marketing with Tieto, and Director of Projects for Majiq. Prior to joining Majiq, Mark was President of Somanco Consulting, and General Manager of Megamation Systems.
