Clairefontaine Integrated MES Project

Greycon is pleased to announce the kick-off of a corporate project with Clairefontaine group (www.clairefontaine.com) of France. Clairefontaine is a leading producer of high quality paper for office use and particularly, business and academic stationery. The deal covers 3 mills in France and the scope encompasses not only Greycon’s well-established planning and scheduling tools (X-Trim & S-Plan), but also the more recent GreyconMill industry-specific manufacturing execution system (MES), with the integration with SAP (FI/CO, SD and MM) being implemented in parallel.
Commenting on the deal, Dr. Constantine Goulimis said: “Greycon in December celebrated its 25th anniversary and it is very nice to be able to announce such a multi-mill deal, which firmly establishes our newly-extended functional footprint into the MES space. This project, building on the successful delivery of two pilot GreyconMill implementations with Wausau Paper in the USA, will be the first modern, industry-specific MES in Europe for a very long time. I am also very pleased because the Clairefontaine notebooks are a joy to write on and I have been using them even before Clairefontaine became our customer.”
