Product Overview

ReTrim is a Greycon module designed for the needs of paper machine and winder crews, who can use ReTrim to:

  • Report jumbo production
  • Report reel production
  • Create and print reel labels
  • Re-optimise taking into account any imperfections in the sheet
  • Re-optimise taking into account rejected reels
  • Re-optimise taking into account variations in density and grammage
  • Optionally integrate, bi-directionally, with SAP's R/3 for both production and quality management

Label Functionality

  • IBarcode support
  • Programmable labels using popular third-party report writer (Crystal Reports)
  • Programmable jumbo and reel numbering
  • Support for any printer with a Windows driver

SAP Integration

Leveraging Greycon's Development Partnership with SAP, ReTrim will accept trim solutions that have been created via APO and multi-output production orders (template PPM).

Production against these production orders is reported directly into R/3.

Quality Management

While ReTrim is not a quality management system, it does allow simple reporting of quality data; this includes:

  • Importing & displaying grade specifications from SAP QM
  • Importing & displaying customer-specific quality specifications from SAP QM
  • Importing quality information from Metso DNApaperMap
  • Capturing other quality information from the user
  • Highlighting any deviations between measurements and specifications
  • Feeding back into SAP QM jumbo and reel inspection lot information

Reporting

Reports can be exported in various popular formats (Lotus, Word, Excel, HTML, etc.) & can be sent by e-mail
