Attribute-Based Scheduling
S-Plan® does not need a product structure and can use partly-configured materials. Many customers, particularly in the plastic and film sector successfully use the system without any notion of a product. For instance, instead of defining a product code for 600 micron, leather pattern, 1200 mm wide and 100 m long, with S-Plan one can define properties that characterise a product (such as colour, basis weight, width, length, watermark, sheeting type, packing type and palletisation), then define an appropriate route, through fundamental operations. Each operation can have its own units of measure and its own waste figures
Coating & Metallisation
The Greycon solution contains functionality specific to coating and metallisation operations. Characteristics such as caliper can change values during the production process. The system also can enforce minimum curing times after operations.
